The Day

TfL is holding a fourth Industry Day on the 16th February 2017, for people who are leaving or have left the Armed Forces. Following previous Industry Days many people have transferred their skills and gained full time employment at TfL and within our supply chain. This year we will also look at the role of Reservists in industry.

Event Details

During the Industry Day there will be an opportunity to speak to people who have attended previous events and are now working within the Transport Industry. This includes a range of people, from those working out on-street to Project Managers and Train Drivers.

  • Gain an understanding of the tasks we undertake to keep London moving
  • Speak to people who have made transition to civilian work
  • Talk to people who undertake real interviews
  • Understand how your skills are transferable
  • Explore the role of Reservists in industry
